I'm Ellie Levine. I am a Chicago-based director and movement director with a focus on devised physical theatre and puppetry. I am passionate about working collaboratively with ensembles to create dynamic and impactful visual storytelling. I empower performers to take an active role in creation through processes that center curiosity and joy.

I am excited about creating theatre for all ages and expanding accessibility in the arts. After graduating with a BA from Northwestern University, I completed a Masters in Theatre Making at the University of Kent in England where I wrote a practical dissertation on developing a body positive approach to physical theatre.
